Ibi Aziz studied gamba at Trinity College of Music London where he won the college’s gold medal in 2005. He is a member of The Rose Consort of Viols with whom he tours and performs worldwide and has recently recorded William Byrd and Peter Philips. Ibi also teaches at Morley College London, where he leads the Baroque and Viol Consorts.

Jenny Bullock was drawn into the early music world whilst undertaking postgraduate cello studies at the Royal College of Music. She subsequently studied both viola da gamba and baroque 'cello at Trinity College of Music, London, with Alison Crum and Susan Sheppard. Since completing her studies in June 2004, Jenny has been enjoying a busy schedule of teaching and performing.

Kate Conway studied viola da gamba and baroque cello with Jonathan Manson at the Royal Academy of Music, after reading Classics at Cambridge. She has performed with Solomon’s Knot, English Touring Opera and the Feinstein Ensemble, and was selected for the Handel House Talent Scheme 2016-17. Kate is a founder member of Ceruleo, who create narrative programmes based on historical themes, and Ensemble Molière, who were finalists at the York International Young Artists Competition.
Sam Stadlen is a gamba player, cellist, lecturer, musicologist, and teacher. Taught viol by Susanna Pell and baroque cello by Rachel Gray, Sam plays with a variety of groups including Chelys, Fretwork, and La Folia, as well as with viol duo Ensemble Touché and French baroque specialists l’Academie du Roi Soleil. With a PhD in the influences of declamation and poetry on the pièces de viole, Sam is an associate lecturer at York University.

Alison Kinder read Music at Oxford and then studied viol with Alison Crum at Trinity College of Music, being awarded the college's Silver Medal for Early Music Studies. Her love is of viols in all shapes and sizes, from soundpost-less Renaissance instruments to 7-string baroque basses. Alison is an enthusiastic teacher both privately and on courses, and she runs the Rondo Viol Academy with fellow teacher and player Jacqui Robertson-Wade.
